Hello, I am Anastasia! I am a Associate Clinical Social Worker in the States of California. 

 

As a teacher, a parent of 7, and a parent coach, my work focuses on teens with learning differences, LGBTQ+ teens, and their families. I use two different approaches in my practice: problem solving therapy and exploring the concept of radical acceptance. I am committed to helping parents of any gender/sexual expression learn how to build healthier relationships with their teens. I believe in taking a collaborative approach for teens to understand themselves better and be able to express their needs in healthy ways to parents who are engaged in open communication. 

 

I’m passionate about building bridges between teens and their parents to help both sides work towards mutual goals. I also have experience with teens and adults struggling with eating disorders, autism awareness and acceptance, and advocating with parents, schools, and administrators to get what your teen needs in their academic environment.
